Tibet Tour Itinerary: 8 days Shenyang-Beijing Lhasa Tsetang-Everest Base Camp Lhasa-Beijing-Shenyang

May31 arrival at Lhasa airport, to be picked up and transferred to Dhood Gu Hotel or Gorkha hotel or similar one, afternoon visit Sera Monastery (interesting one)

June1 Lhasa highlight sightseeing tour and acclimatization to altitude: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor streets

June2 Lhasa-Tsetang (Tibetan cultural cradle)-Samye Monastery-Yumbulagang Palace and Tramdruk Monastery, o/n in Yarlung River Grand hotel (4 star standard good hotel)

June3 Tsetang-Lake Yamdrok-Karola Glacier-Gyantse (Pelkhor Monastery + Kumbum Pagoda)-Shigatse city, o/n in Shigatse Manasarovar hotel

June4 Shigatse-Lhatse-Shegar-Rongphu Monastery (340 km landscape driving), and trek 4 km to campsite, o/n in local dormitory private tent

June5 trek 4 km to Everest base camp, enjoy the view to Mt Everest peak, and back to Rongphu, and we will drive for Shigatse city, o/n in Shigatse Manasarovar hotel

June6 Shigatse (Tashilhunpo Monastery and local market view)-Lhasa (280 km), back to Lhasa around 6 pm, free time in Lhasa

June7 after breakfast in hotel, we will drive for airport, leave Lhasa for next stop;
