Tibet Nepal Overland Tour Agent Review April2014
Day 1: 24th April: Fly to Lhasa by CA408, 11:30am-3:15pm (arrival time), airport pick-up by one tour van, rest in hotel which is booked by yourself
Day 2-5: 25th - 28th April: Lhasa
Day2 25th Guide will meet us in the morning to visit Jokhang, and nearby little Jokhang monastery,
Day3 26th Sera and Drepung Monasteries. Need transportation (by one tour van)
Day4 27th we try to arrange visit Potala Palace in the afternoon, no need car
Day5 28th We will also take a day trip to the fabulous Nam Tso-Lake north of Lhasa, a tour van is really nice for the good road condition
Day6: 29th April – Lhasa Lake Yamdrok-Karola Glacier-Gyantse-Shigatse – 360km (Alt = 3900m) - We get underway today south of Lhasa and over the 4700m Kangpa La and along the glorious Yamdrok Yu Tso (Lake). Expect views of the first 7000m+ peaks, on our way to a night in the old monastery town of Shigatse, hotel on your own
Day7: 30th April Shigatse to Shegar (Alt = 4340m) - A beautiful drive over the Lakpa La from which we should have majestic views of the Himalaya mountains, perhaps including a glimpse of Everest. o/n in Shegar Everest Hotel or Shegar Shanghai Everest Hotel
Day8: 1st May - Shegar to Rongbuk Valley to Tingri (Alt = 4300m) -Today we take a full day trip into the Rongbuk Valley and Everest from the north. Travel onward to Old Tingri
Unlike the southern route from Nepal, which involves over a week of trekking, in Tibet we can drive right into the mountain. o/n in Rongphu Monastery guesthouse or dormitory tent in Campsite
Day 9: 2nd May - Drive from Old Tingri to Zhangmu with stunning views of the Tibetan Plateau followed by lush, subtropical forest. (Alt = 1800m)—o/n in Zhangmu Hotel (best hotel at the border)-and check out of Tibet
Day 10: 3rd May: 3rd of May, Border to Nagarkot, stay 1 night,
Two land Cruiser or similar 4 wheel drive
4th May, Nagarkot to Bhaktapur to Kathmandu Guest House

a: on the 21st April, pick me up from my hotel and going to airport pick up for 5 people, so total of 6 of people, want a nice looking Van,
Flight Number: Malaysia Airlines Flight MH170, arrive 11:30, car need to pick me up from hotel at 11am

c: on the 24thApril, Van from Shambaling to Airport to catch our flight to Lhasa

Malaysia Airlines Flight MH171, 12:20, need to leave hotel Kathmandu Guest House around 9am.
E: 5th May pick up Alexander Scott from Kathmandu Guest House at 5:45pm to airport to catch Flight: QR651 departure 21:30pm.
