April 20 Day01 to Lhasa, pick up and transfer-- O/n in comfortable hotel (Snow Heaven Hotel) in downtown
April 21 Day02 Guided sightseeing walking tour in downtown in Lhasa: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazaar, hotel as above
Today what we will visit in Lhasa is the vital Potala Palace and the Jokhang Temple with her vicinities. Potala palace is Lhasa's most important landmark and she a wonder of Eastern architecture. Your first site of this massive structure will be a magical moment which will be remembered for your rest life time. It has been a palace since the fifth or sixth century and was once the home to the Dalai Lama. Well another visit we will take is to Jokhang Temple which locates at Barkhor Bazaar. This temple is the most revered shrine in Tibet and is constantly bustling with devout worshippers. We will also be given the opportunity to shop in Barkhor Bazaar, the crowded central market in ancient section of Lhasa where the residence of many local people is.

April 22 Day03 Lhasa-Drak Yerpa Hermitage cave monastery trip in the morning, and village view on the way, and afternoon visit Sera Monastery, hotel as above (today we get further acclimatization)
April 23 Day04 Lhasa-Drive from Lhasa to Shigatse city (landscape trip), in the afternoon visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, also Tibetan streets, o/n in Shigatse Manasarovar Hotel. Today we will drive around 280 km covering the landscape sightseeing along the way, it takes around 5-6 hours, on the way if time permitting and if you like, we may stop nearby some nice hills to do couple of hours hiking. We will get to Shigatse city around 3 pm, and in the afternoon we would take a visit to Tashilhunpo Monastery.
April 24 Day05 Shigatse-Shegar town-Tashitsong Village, o/n in local family guesthouse (Tashitsong is only 45 km to Everest Base camp, altitude is around 4300 meters), it is cold, and we will ask our family guesthouse there to provide more quilts and e-blankets to keep it as warm as possible. Today the distance is around 300 km, and we will get to the small village at the foot of Everest region around 7 pm, and on the way we will see lots of snow mountains, small Tibetan villages.
April 25 Day06 to Everest Base Camp and we will drive back to Shigatse city, hope we will like the moments when we see the clear face of Mt. Everest peak, it would be around minus 20-25 degree and very windy, be sure you have warm gloves, warm hats, warm scarfs to cover your face, and also you should have lip sticks, and have hot water bottle, chocolate (and beer J), and we will return to Shigatse city around 8 pm, hotel as above- o/n in Shigatse Manasarovar Hotel
April 26 Day07 Shigatse-Gyantse-Karola Glacier-Lake Yamdrok-Lhasa (350km), hotel as above
Today is a big highlight day, along the way we will see the beautiful Lake Yamdrok and Karola Glacier before driving back to Lhasa.
Today’s activities: Yamdrok Lake (100km from Lhasa), Southern part of Tibet Plateau (3 hours of drive) and Karola Glacier
In the morning you'll start the drive to Gyantse on the Southern Friendship Highway. First site to see is the small city of Gyantse where we could have early lunch and enjoy a cup of tea somewhere, and then we will drive to see the Karola Glacier, and then we will continue to drive to drive to Lake Yamdrok, we may spend couple of hours beside the lake, take lots of pictures from different points of view points (beside the lake side, on the mountain passes, etc). We will get back to Lhasa around 5 pm and we would have a group dinner and wish all of you have enjoyed the whole trip in Tibet.
