Drepung Monastery 9:30 am-1pmTibet Monastery Tour program one: In the morning, our Tibet Travel Expert tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby in the morning at 8:30 am and bike to visit Drepung Monastery, one of the three greatest Gelug Monasteries in Tibetan Buddhism. Drepung is about 18km from downtown Lhasa and if we can't continue to ride up, we can leave the bicyles downhill and walk another few miles to reach the Drepung Monastery. Drepung is quiet and intimate, and the sightseeing is stunning, the villages around the monastery is very picturesque with local people walking up and down the narrow alleys. At around 1 pm, we will ride back to Lhasa city and have lunch in a local restaurant. |

Sera Monastery 2:30 pm-4:30pm1 day Tibet Monastery Tour program two: In the afternoon, finally it comes to the exciting moment of highlight monk’s debate in Sera Monastery. We will ride to Sera Monastery and at 3:00 pm (except Sundays), the monks will gather together and challenge each other on matters of philosophy which is impressive and memorable. |

5:30-8:30 pm: Visit Tibetan Artist's Thangka Painting and have Tibetan Dinner at Tibetan HomeYour guide will take you to visit Tibetan artist who is a Thangka Painter and make dinner with local Tibetan, enjoy the Tibetan food. Drive back to your hotel after the meal. |
