A: Yes. Right now, many air companies in China are selling e-ticket to travelers. We would love to help you buy the e-tickets from the ticket office but you do not need to hold the paper ticket, all you have to do is to print out your flight booking PNR or reference codes as well as flight schedule, and take your valid passport and the Tibet Travel permits to get the boarding pass without any issue.
Q: Is it easy to purchase a train ticket to Tibet now?
A: The popularity of train travel to Tibet has resulted in the huge demand for Tibet train tickets among visitors. It's very difficult for individual travelers to get a ticket on their own. Reliable travel agencies can NOT guarantee successful booking. We recommend you fly into Tibet and return by a train.
Q: Do I need a health report when I travel by train to Tibet?
A: All travelers are required to complete a health report on the train to Tibet.
Q: What vehicle do you use in Tibet?
A: We offer tour vans (9-14 seats), mini tour bus or bigger tour bus (from 19 to 40 seats) and also 4WD tour vehicles, while the 4WD is only for the deluxe and private tours, since it costs not efficiently and generally more expensive as it can be only good for 2-4 travelers plus one tour guide and one driver, so it is more expensive if your own tour group is just with 2 or 3 persons. On the other hand, the road condition in Tibet is better and better, mini tour vans and tour buses are more and more popular even for Everest Base Camp trip and Mt. Kailash trip, it becomes more comfortable and cheaper due to more space and more tourists sharing the cost.

Q: Do I need a Travel Permit to buy air ticket or train ticket to Lhasa, Tibet?
A: Yes, No air ticketing agents want to take the risk of no travel documents but to issue the air tickets for you casually, and it is illegal if you fly to Lhasa without a travel permit in hand, that is why airline agents do ask you for permits references in advance and can help you issue the air tickets. However since we have been in touch with most airline agents for flights to and from Lhasa and we cooperate in air ticketing a long time ago, we can issue the air tickets easily in advance and we provide them with the necessary Travel Documents photo copies for their references, this releases any of your worries.

A: You do not have to print out the e-tickets detailed information, but it is suggested you print out the Tibet Tour Service Voucher from us (in the voucher, the flights or train info should be clearly specified). And you need to take your "valid passports the copies of which you send us in email for permits application" and the Tibet Travel Permits to get the boarding pass and you can pass the security with the permits without which you will be blocked and cannot fly to Lhasa.
Q: Is it easy to purchase a train ticket to Tibet now?

Q: If I do have chance to get the train tickets by myself 10 days before departure, can you help us with urgent tour booking?
A: It is great if you can get train tickets by yourself. And we guarantee we can apply the permits arrange all bookings urgently. So, once you have a train ticket in hand, pls be in hurry to send us your passports and China visa copies for us to handle urgently. by the way you do not need to take the original Tibet Travel Permits for train check in mostly (this is subject to change prior to our notice in email).
Q: What shall I prepare for train travel to Tibet?
A: Some necessary dry and energy food, energetic drinks, water bottle, small handbag, small light backpack, bigger backpack, towels, toilet papers, lip-bam, camera and plugs etc.

Q: Are your drivers and/or tour guides experienced, smoking, asking us for tip?
A: All our drivers and tour guides are well chosen from the local guides and local drivers. They worked with us for many years up to now and they are experienced enough. But some of them do smoke, but they never be allowed to smoke in the vehicle per your agency rule, and they never ask our clients for tips, but they would be more than satisfied and happy if you could tip them well if they tried their best to serve you.
Q: Do you buy travel insurance for my vacation in Tibet?
A: We do not buy individual travel insurance. You should buy it in your own country with higher compensation standard, while on our end, we buy Travel Agency liability Insurance, and our service staff (Tour guides and drivers) have necessary insurances related, importantly our tour vehicles are licensed and with all necessary insurances.
Q: Where to meet our Tibetan tour guide and the driver?
A: If you Tibet Travel Package is with airport-hotel-airport (or station) transportation inclusive, our Tibetan tour guide and driver will meet you in airport or station according to the schedule, they will hold your name sign (and we will provide you with the tour guide name and mobile phone before you leave for Lhasa), what we do is to provide a completely stress-free and comfortable Tibet Travel.
