Tibet Lhasa to Nepal budget overland tour review (May23-28, 2013), Clients from Norway

Distinguished Norwegi an Guests traveled in Tibet with Tibet Ctrip Travel Service. Two young travelers from Norway travelled from Shanghai to Lhasa along Qinghai Tibet railway. May23 Leave Shanghai at 19:36pm (please be ready to board the train at 6 pm (Shanghai railway station-Not Shanghai Southern Railway or Hongqiao Railway station)
May24 Day1: Enjoy the train travel to Lhasa
May25 Day2: Arrival in Lhasa at 8:15pm, station-hotel transfer (comfortable hotel in Barkhor region)
May26 Day3: Get up early, Potala Palace, Barkhor Streets, hotel as above
May27 Day4: Lhasa to Shigatse (280km, lunch in Shigatse)-drive 150 to Lhatse-then to view point of Everest which is 30km after the Gyatsola Mountain pass, take photos of Everest, then drive 20km to Shegar Town, have some rest, then we continue 60km drive to Old Tingri to see the sunset photos of Everest in Old Tingri. o/n in budget guesthouse
May28 Day5: drive from Old Tingri to Zhangmu (get up early and see Everest again-sunrise photos)- then drive 180km to Zhangmu border, arrival around 1pm, check out of Tibet (the tour ends with us), take local bus to Kathmandu/Bhaktapur. (We plan to stay in Bhaktapur-you can do that by yourself)—or if need any cheap Nepal tour, you can go to meet my friend partner there.
