Welcome to the "Roof Top of the World." Upon your arrival to Tibet Gonggar Airport, your Tibetan tour guide and driver will meet you with your name sign and transfer you to the hotel. After your long flight or tired train travel to Tibet, maybe it is good for you to sleep for about one hour and after dinner, walk little bit around Barkhor streets to have the first impression of Lhasa.

Today's activities: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastery, Barkhor Street
This morning you'll wind your way up through the stunning, awe-inspiring Potala Palace. Built in 637 AD by Songtsen Gampo, it was the former winter residence for the Dalai Lamas and is truly a splendor of eastern architecture. Next, visit the Jokhang Temple, the center of Tibetan Buddhism, also built in the 7th century on the legendary pond of "Wothang." Later after lunch, witness the famous debate sessions by the monks at Sera Monastery and we can also take easy visit to Pabongka Monastery. And finish the day by taking a Kora around the Barkhor. Test your bartering skills with the locals in this push-and-shove economy.

June4 Lhasa -Lake Yamdrok-Gyantse-Shigatse (350km, 8-10 hrs): Meals: [Breakfast+ Lunch + Dinner]
Today's activities: Yamdrok Lake (100km from Lhasa), Southern part of Tibet Plateau (3 hours of drive)
In the morning you'll start the drive to Shigatse, via Gyantse on the Southern Friendship Highway. Crossing over the summit of Kamba La (4794 m), you'll see the tranquil turquoise waters of Lake Yamdrok below; one of the three holiest lakes in Tibet. Far in the distance you'll spot the towering massif Mt. Nojin Kangtsang (7191m) and the staggering Karo-la Glacier (5045m). Afterwards, you'll drive to Shigatse, and overnight there.

June5 Tashilumpu Monastery Lhasa, Meals: [Breakfast+ Lunch + Dinner]
Today's activities: Tashilhunpo Monastery, land driving
This morning you'll have a chance to visit Tashilumpu Monastery, the home of the Panchen Lama, which is essentially a walled town with cobbled and twisting lanes that revolve around a magnificent monastery. Then be driven to back to Lhasa along the central Nepal Tibet highway (landscape travel)
June6 after breakfast in hotel around 8am, check out of hotel at about 9:00am, your Tibetan tour guide and driver will transfer you to Lhasa Gonggar airport, we will arrive around 10 am, fly to Xi’an by flight MU2334 taking off at 11:40 am and your flight will arrive at 2:20 pm, your tour guide will wait for you at Xi’an international airport. Then, you will be transferred back to Xi'an city hotel (3 stars) in downtown in Xi’an. In the afternoon we are going to visit Muslim streets and the Mosque if time permitting, if not, then we will visit on June7.

June 7 Today, you will visit the famous Xi’an ancient city wall first. Then, it takes one hour driving to Terra-cotta warriors and horses’ museum; you will take a stop at Terra-cotta warrior’s factory to get detail information about the technology how to make the full size pottery soldiers 2200 years ago in China. You will explore in Terra-cotta warriors and horses’ museum over 3 hours including lunch in this museum. Usually, our tour guide will lead you to visit half part of museum, and then you will have a lunch inside. After break, you will visit the rest part of the museum. In the late afternoon, you will visit the big wild goose pagoda. B / L / D
Day08: Breakfast at hotel, fly back to Chengdu by one morning flight MU2341 7:35am-9:00am (Terminal 2 in Chengdu Shuangliu International airport), connect flight Sat 08 Jun 2013, 1455 hrs (2:55PM) back to Jakarta (B)
