July14 Flight Air China CA408 11:40-3:25pm to Lhasa from KTM to be picked up and transferred to Lhasa, o/n in Snow Heaven Hotel (for original 3 star hotel category, without surcharge we upgrade to arrange this 4 star hotel which we frequently used in the past years). One oxygen cylinder can be arranged to your room and wish this helps you get well acclimatized.

July17 Day 2 visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor streets, hotel as above
Today what we will visit in Lhasa is the vital Potala Palace and the Jokhang Temple with her vicinities. Potala palace is Lhasa's most important landmark and she a wonder of Eastern architecture. Your first site of this massive structure will be a magical moment which will be remembered for your rest life time. It has been a palace since the fifth or sixth century and was once the home to the Dalai Lama. Well another visit we will take is to Jokhang Temple which locates at Barkhor Bazaar. This temple is the most revered shrine in Tibet and is constantly bustling with devout worshippers. We will also be given the opportunity to shop in Barkhor Bazaar, the crowded central market in ancient section of Lhasa where the residence of many local people is.

July18 Day 3 Chusamg Nunnery and Sera Monastery (some easy hiking experiences here, have good view to Lhasa city)
July19 Day 4 Lhasa-Shigatse city, o/n in Shigatse Manasarovar hotel
Today's activities: Landscape driving from Lhasa to Shigatse city, we could do some mountain hiking on the way (beside the road G318). We will get to Shigatse around 4:30 pm, Accommodation: Shigatse Manasarovar Hotel or similar good 3 star hotel
Tips: this afternoon, our guide will take your passport to try to obtain the PSB permit (Alien's travel permit) to Kailash Area, it will take about half hour (pending the queue at the office), and you may either wait in the vehicle or just walk around.
