Tibet tour itinerary: Chengdu-Lhasa-Xi'ning

May22 Friday, arrival at Lhasa airport 9:35am by flight from Chengdu, to be picked up and transferred to downtown Lhasa, o/n in 4 star hotel Lhasa Ganggyan Hotel, and rest well for high altitude acclimatization

May23 Saturday: visit Norbulinka the morning, meeting Deaf people in the morning in the deaf people’s tea house, enjoy the local tea, Tibetan noodle, hotel as above

May24 Sunday: visit Potala Palace with your sign persons (Tibetan friend, your Chinese friend and Tibetan tour guide), afternoon visit Deaf person’s company basis, hotel as above 

From May25 to May27, have some local daily life experience, milking yaks, making butter tea, Zhamba breakfast, sweet tea, etc.

May25 Monday Lhasa-Azha village (Tsanang county-Tsetang city)—Deaf people’s family visit, homestay, learn daily life and have local experience of life (or camping)

May26 Tuesday one more day meeting different deaf people family, home stay or camping if not allowed to stay at home that moment

May27 Wednesday Another day with deaf people family, enjoy the daily life (we drive to nearby village), homestay or local guesthouse stay

May28 Thu. Drive to Tsetang, visit Samye Monastery, and then drive to Tsetang, visit Yumbulagang Palace, o/n in Yulong Holiday Hotel or similar one if late booking

May29 Friday Tsetang-Lake Yamdrok-Karola Glacier-Lhasa, o/n Lhasa Ganggyan Hotel

May30 Saturday, Lhasa-Maizhuogonggar-Nyima Gyangre (meet Deaf people family)-Tedrum Hot Spring, o/n in Shambhala Source

May31 Sunday Tedrum Nunnery-Drigungthil Monastery-Ganden Monastery-picnic near Taktse county in the afternoon (with deaf people), drive back to Lhasa around 8 pm  

June 1 Monday, Visit Deaf People’s association where there are about 150 disabled people and some of them are deal people, no videos are allowed, only meeting people, learning their situation of learning skills, taking pictures after allowance

June2 Tuesday, hotel to airport transfer, fly to China
